The Importance of Speed in Formula One
In a cost-cap environment in Formula One, there is always a reason to look for efficiencies. It does mean that those communications lines back to where anyone's working do have to be absolutely robust and very, very quick. The level of scrutiny and attention we put into both designing the network, but also the data transfer that's needed. We're very focused on the complete design of the environment, and then ultimately the experience that gets delivered. Next time I'm at a race and I've got a really terrible Wi-Fi connection, I'm going to try and nab the McLaren Wi-Fi password - even if they won't give it to me.
