The Importance of Mark Mitcher

Mark Mitcher told the pilots who commanded naval air forces in that area of the Pacific when this mission went down. This is the same Mark Mitcher who lied during the Battle of Midway a year earlier and less than a year earlier. And I think he's feeling pretty good about himself after this successful mission, knowing he's kind of a dog house with Nimitz. He carves a path out as we will see here as we continue to go through this war.
