Sally Kohn: Why should we say that a particular tradition, even if it does produce stability, should be maintained? She says the mechanism of tradition really doesn't care whether it favors one group or another. Kohn: If you look around the world at non-agallitarian caste system cultures, I'd be very surprised if you would find that lower caste people are interested in throwing out the caste system.
