Politicians will spew ideas like he said about Al Gore. People just, the self-reliance part of this comes in when you say, don't tell me how I should be feeling about what you're saying. Let me take a look at what you're looking at so I can make my own informed decision. It's much easier to just listen to an authoritative figure and just blindly and obediently cater to them. The advances that we're experiencing in technology, in my opinion, seems to have a negative influence on self-reliant. But it shouldn't. We had this conversation yesterday. It shouldn't go.
