Oxytocin and Relationship Bonding
Oxytocin is dangerous before marriage because you should be evaluating your partner, not bonding with them. Paul says it helps us live with sexual integrity. 12 to 18 months is a normal shelf life of an infatuation. Once the infatuation fades, they're having regular sexual relations. They're re-bonding every time they do. It's a great pattern.
