The business model here for these gangs is what drugs are gone about, as you say, violently. Drugs, extortion, kidnapping, sort of a mafia-style set up in parts of the country. So it's a very profitable way of running a business from the gang's perspective, but appalling for the people that lived there. There were whole areas of the country that were sort of gangland. And that meant that at night no one would go out. But consecutive governments in El Salvador have been trying to tackle this problem.
