The Pauli Exclusion Principle Explains Magnets
If you take two magnets, bar magnets with north-south each, and you put them down next to each other, they'll try to point north pointing towards south. So that seems to contradict our every day experience of what magnets actually do. And the answer uses something called the Pauli exclusion principle, which is a famous resulting quantum mechanics. It explains how electrons can exist at the same point in space but still repel each other because they're both negatively charged.
