The second law of thermodynamics is more or less a statement that the entropy increases with time. If you like it gets more and more random as time goes on. Now what we see was the main evidence for the existence of the big bang is this cosmic microwave background. The universe that we see there's a problem because if the second law of Thermodynamics works way back in time to the big bang where you see it’s telling you that as you go into the future therandomness goes up.
