For ten years Bedford and Anne built the acceptance of Henry's rule in France. The massive problem was that whatever happened, by tradition and by blood Charles the Dauphat should be King of France now. Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester had been a leading commander under Henry. But funnily enough, he never really had an independent command. He didn't quite hold the same level of trust as his brother did for Bedford. And despite the impressively high opinion Gloucester had of himself, there was something not quite convincing.
