The Importance of Connecting With God
I think one of the challenges that I've seen in my own children, others who that belong to my generation and are raising kids in America is that by and large, these children grow up and live in privilege. They live in comfort, certainly safety, security, let alone a roof over their heads and food to eat and sleep with a belly full. And so growing up in that privilege, I think the challenge that I've confronted is inculcating in that type of a child who has basically been given everything he or she needs,. Even beyond that, feels entitled to it. There's a thirst and a desire to connect with a law, to connect with God.
