What Is Taking Children Seriously?
Paparina epistemology is a new way of interacting with children. Instead of thinking that children are irrational and because they don't know as much as we do, we have to coerce them. We view children as being people who are just as entitled to freedom and control over their own lives as we are. And in the case of taking children seriously, their learning is self-directed. It's not like leaving them to fend for themselves.
