The Impact of TSMC on China
The US is very dependent on TSMC. Every smartphone chip is made, Nvidia, Apple, AMD,. All these companies have a single point of failure, which is TSMC. Now Intel is making moves to get in the game, the Foundry game where you can give them your design and they'll manufacture it. It's hard to do for lots of reasons, not just because of the money involved or all those sorts of things. But at the same time, you look at the damage that China would incur, they would take an even bigger hit if TSMC goes away.
