The Benefits of Behaviorism

You can really train an animal this way. You can train a dog, you can train a cat. It's got a bit of a weird philosophy because the whole idea of like thoughts don't exist and you don't have any internal states. But in terms of working yeah it is useful for a lot of things. Eventually it kind of came out of vogue because it was really big psychological school of how everything worked in the 1950s. Mainly there were some things which was really hard to explain using behaviorism.
