And the thing with resilience is, i think if you are surrounded by peace and predictability, order, wealth or other affluence, er, it becomes easy for people to lose touch with nature and the nature of mankind. We have no choice but to see these things, the evil or evils of the day, then collaborate to fight it. That's what we give to the next generation and emigrants and all new americans.
