Titanfall is one of the strongest free to play battle royale models out there. The team at Bioware had a blank slate, as we said, and approached the first game with no market research. And they wanted to make something in the realm of sci-fi to compete actually less with Call of Duty and more with stuff like Gears of War and Halo.
