The Better Place Model Could Have Been Successful

Better place was not about going to the really affluent consumers first and asking them to fund development. Instead we were about changing a business model so that the consumer didn't have to buy the battery which was the delta in the cost of the car. We bought the battery and let the consumer buy the car as they're used to buying the car. And then they pay us for their miles as they go. With the right execution, it could have pulled forward the age of EVs by several years.
