What Happens to the Dragon? Chapter 14

The dwarves in Bilbo don't know this, but basically we got this chapter 14 goes back two days to when smog first left the mountain really angry. They have no idea what's going on or where he is. The dragon comes and his first plan is to go over the bridge and destroy the town, but he can't. So it says that he goes into a rage. Right? And so he's gradually destroying the town and then finally, you know, there's still one group of archers who are not worried at all about killing him.
