The Danger of Separation of the Individual From Society
In the part of Burger that we read, there wasn't an explicit political point. He talks at length about the danger of separation of the individual from society where they become ungrounded. It made me think a lot about trauma and how people that are members of marginalized groups end up experiencing the relationship of their individual identity with the rest of the world in a traumatic experience.
