Endotracheal Intubation and CPR

Patients receiving endotracheal intubation had a significantly higher median PAO2 at 71 versus 58mm of mercury. This resulted in an increased rate of candidacy for eCPR and increased neurologically favourable survival to discharge compared to supradotic airways. The author's conclusion was associated with improved oxygenation and ventilation after prolonged CPR.
