Is the Septuagint a Real Thing?

A lot of people get their theology from TikTok and Instagram sadly. The Old Testament certainly was written in Hebrew and parts in Aramaic. It was translated into Greek in the intertestamental period, which is often referred to as the Septuagint. So when we translate the Bible, you're translating the Old Testament from the Hebrew and Aramaic and then the New Testament from the Greek. And it's possible she just misspoke or didn't add enough information here.
