In pew's case, they're getting response rates to their mail surveys of almost 30 % in the optimistic cases. They find that if they wait their surveys to the partisan composition in this higher response rate mail pole, oh, then their surveys that they're waiting based off of their on line panel are much more accurate. But it's super expensive, right? So that's the downsight hereas there's going to have to be a lot more investment in the methodologies, ind new methodologies and technologies for polling b but they're promising.
