Milton: I think sometimes people in the Academy, they can be really loose with violence. And what happens in Robert Williams' Negroes with Guns is he actually makes an argument that this is 1950s, 1960s of Black people should arm themselves to defend their community. So do you think that that's still an important potential aspect of Milton anti-fascism in the contemporary moment? Or was that a past historical moment that now we need to start thinking in other ways? "I think the question of self-defense is an important one"
