The Problem With May 68

I don't think there was a serious possibility of a new truly democratic socialist country, state. What would have happened if the Soviet Union were not to integrate is that either Kekka Slovakia would simply have become part of the West or at a certain point they would have to stop it. I think paradoxically, the very Soviet intervention kept the dream alive. It's an important moment for that also, because there was a multiplication of rights after May 68 and because of May 68,. which we did not see in the last decades.
