Schopenhauer makes a couple of rhetorical moves in this argument that you guys are making fun of, but I think are actually not. What he's doing is more radical only in the sense that he extends it to all kinds of objects and doesn't just limit it to other human beings. If you can know other objects in the world that have being in the first type as objects, then you have to assume that they have being inThe second way that you do. He will stratify different levels of being later in the latter half of the- Schopenhauer will stratify God.
