The new media landscape has not helped matters. What i think i've seen in many of my fellow podcasters and writers is the phenomenon of audience capture. We all gravitate toward messages that we like and to people we find persuasive. And these people tend to keep doing what works. But audience capture is a real problem, and i've conscious guarded against it. Ever since i discovered that whole sections of my audience were outraged by one or another position i've taken. I decided not to be concerned about that and not to do anything differently....
