The Future of Music
During those years, Scott was creating the kinds of machines his music helped to sell. They were curling, spinning devices that seemed as if they came from the future. Music like Scott's just didn't exist in the mainstream, but he was sneaking it in there through commercials. He saw his machines as a way to push the envelope and thought that because the sounds they made were new, they'd catch the ear.
