Is World War III a Cold War?
CNN's John Sutter says the U.S.-China dynamic has degenerated into a "next phase of competition" The question now is, can we avoid an escalation that takes it much further, he asks. We've already got proxy wars going, at least with the situation between US and Russia, writes Sutter. It seems to me that the war in Ukraine has been escalated in some respects to reflect tension between US and Russian as opposed to just the Russia-Ukraine situation.
