The Effects of Statin on Heart Attack Risk
There was no difference between the statin group and the placebo group. The absolute reduction was 1.1% over this clinical trial. Not all heart attacks are fatal, but they can be incredibly minor things where a level of an enzyme might go up suggesting you've had a heart attack.
