The Importance of Decentralization in Political Processes
Voters tend to be apathetic because every voter knows that at an individual level, his one vote doesn't matter. And therefore, when the reward is so low, why put in the hard work of educating yourself on what is at stake and understanding public policy and economics? The Greens party 30 years ago, where were they? One, two percent take Germany for instance. So that's the place we're not given ourselves in this country. It's almost impossible to be outside the mainstream parties and be politically significant.
