Do You Think We'll Ever Understand Our Minds?

I used to believe my brain was the most complicated object in the universe. And then I realized, who's telling me that? I love it. It might be that we are going to understand some range of things and other things are going to be forever beyond us. Until we really understand how the brain gives consciousness, we can never really settle the free will slash determinism argument. But there are sort of compatible as notions where we acknowledge that we have more responsibilities but still subject to laws of physical universe.
