Open Topography - Is There a Tension?

There's a bit of tension that it's largely related to this relatively narrow funding source. The national sience foundation is very excited to see broader, what they call broader impacts of their investments and things likeopen topography. And so we're constantly trying to figure out ways to navigate that space those kind of partnerships. We've really tried to avoid charging the end user. That's not because we do believe in open data and open data access but as you say, especially things like an demand compute, aren't free.
