If your reaction is t my ego, you better look at yours. And then you will know immediately whether or not i what this person, your spouse said was true or not by your reaction. It's quite possible that the person was wrong. Perhaps it was the ego being projected unto you. So observe the reactivity in you, especially when challenges happen in life. There's always you can go either way. You can become re if again, put into unconsciousness, or you can rise above and suddenly become more present through the challenge.
