The Cusiembas are in a relatively favorable policy and legal context, but they still get hurt tremendously and abandoned. And I think that that tells us something about what the state is looking to do, which is abandoned people because it seems too expensive to not. This was a highly expected case among industry and among white shoe law firms, basically all over the country, preparing for what sort of precedent this would set. There are dozens and dozens of these so-called take home COVID court cases, which I think is like a perverse and interesting way that they get discussed in the first place.
