How to Find the Hides Cluster
The hyades cluster is about a hundred and 53 light years away, which means that it's pretty far away. To the naked eye, it just looks like a point - but if you have a strong enough telescope, you can zoom in on it. The hiates cluster is actually part of a constellation. And we can use parallax to measure how far away it is. We've all these cool techniques for measuring how far away a star is from.
