I don't really think of buddhism as a faith, a like christianity or islam. I think of it as a way of life, a world view. It's the one place that i've been to where i felt heady all the time. The small clusters of villages here and there, the enormous distances, the clear air,. all of that combined to give you a very sort of intoxicating sense. And that is something that, rather pathetically, i shal remind myself of with this little er screen saver.
