The Preface in the History of Philosophy
The preface, as the term implies, comes before the text. It is something hat is meant to stand in for the text or to add to it. But nevertheless, it still holds an instrumental value, that is, it still has a purpose. The task of dconstruction is essentially to disorganize,. to trouble, the static difference between opposing terms and how they resemble one another.
