The Tubercular Eyed Fish
Crocodile ice fish are the only known vertebrates to lack hemoglobin in their blood as adults. This is because their blood is lacking hemo lobin, a red protein responsible for transporting oxygen and stores it in mussel cells. Some specimens look partially translucent but other species don't look crystal like. They just look like some sort of weird, big headed gray fish.
