The Role of Exchanges in the Market Structure
The SEC just gave me 750k with the glorified for. The exchanges are totally responsible because they're selling these data feeds and they were ensuring that they're faster. It's not, so the law is really clear that you can't provide data fast on your direct feeds than you provided to the CEP. That is what the NYC has fined $5 million for. But I know human nature a little bit and you mix that in with capitalism and having shareholders, legal immunity is just a downward path to the place that we're at today.
