Bryce's brother, who also had anxiety, took his life at 40 years old. His mom said she did him a disservice by not requiring him to just walk through the anxiety. Anxiety is like a bear: When you have something that you were dealing with and now I'm feeling super anxious and I don't want to go,. Well, there's a part of your brain that says you should cancel - but it's an hour before you should cancel. And so over time you create this avoidance loop. The disruption is for me, the personal disruption is to face the bear.
