Engine One May Go Idle While You're Taking Off
The first officer's manoeuvrs in the surface positions cannot be explained based on the data and elements available. The investigator start looking to the auto throttle system, which is a very common system. They found a briefing card that said, after takeoff, during climb, engine number one may go back to idol when switching from thrust to climb power. Other crews who had complained in the log book,. starting rom 20 eighth, 19 94, and they all complaind that the engine number one throttle would go back to idols for some unknown reason while taking off or climbing.
