What's Missing in This Movie?

There are tom clancy elements to this, specifically in a jean hackman's character. But what is missing? The one ideological note that i can kind of pull out of this is its anti anti communism. It's the only note it's only time where there's a note of what would actually come in the wake of the antheto union. And they're using notes as patsies or kind of pawns in their attempt to hold on to power. They're like shadow world bureaucratic actors and everything else. His sense of history is moving towards a post-ideological world.
