The Dark Side of Software in Real Estate

You tweeted recently about the real page scandal where property management software was allegedly colluding to drive up rents. I'm not sure I realize the comments but more data is coming into our world all the time, you can have some really ugly things that come out of there as well. There's plenty of academic papers on bias in these things. Well, on the one hand, it's very comforting to think that there's not an individual sitting there deciding the answer for you and I about something. But garbage in, garbage out.
