The Effect of Visual Perception on Hearing
In the same way that your brain is making predictions about what you will see and what you will hear, it's also making predictions aboutwhat you will feel in your body. And we have a very fancy name for this in, in psychology, we call it learning. Your brain has to be able to predict what your body needs and move resources around so that your body gets what it needs before those needs arise. This is a very metabolically efficient way to run a brain.
