The Cost of a Daycare in Japan
A survey done last May by a Japanese research firm, Tekuku Data Bank, found that almost 50% of the companies in their database is facing a labor shortage. Mikio Komura, president of Sompa Holdings, which is Japan's leading insurance company, is making a big bet here. His company has developed artificial intelligence-based software that can analyze complex health data of individuals and predict diseases they might face in the future. For example, the system predicts the probability of pneumonia and hospitalization based on the data on the past minutes. That can be applied to early detection.
