The eight members of the group made a pledge that they would never talk about it with anybody. "We didn't even know what the statute of limitations might have been on criminal charges, but we just knew that it wasn't in our self interest talk about it" The plan was to vet them and to release copies of the stuff that we thought was most significant to congress and to the press. Of course, we couldn't know what we would collect.
