The Origins of Ancient Chinese Writing

Last time we discussed China was back in volume one when we discussed cultures that had begun to emerge around the Yangtze and Jell-O rivers cultivating rice and millet among other things. Other Neolithic cultures would emerge around the Liao river in the north also. Artifacts from this site date back to a period between 8 and 9,000 years ago and they contain some very fascinating symbols. Let's continue our journey around the ancient world and to all of those places that we are yet to visit during the course of volume two.
