Chicken Out
In English, chicken means scared. To chicken out is to not do something because you're scared. I feel like these days I'm fairly confident I can talk quite confidently, but it wasn't always like that. It used to be very shy indeed. And the worst thing for me was finding a job. That is why I'm so, so happy and lucky to be able to do this kind of stuff.
