The Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act
The case is SACET versus the EPA and the court essentially adopted a definition of Waters of the United States that Justice Scalia had floated in 2006 but it was not law of the land. Under this opinion written by Justice Alito, Clean Water Act only applies to Waters of the US which they define as traditional interstate navigable waters or relatively permanent body of water. We are now going to just live in a world where,. about 51% of the nation's wetlands are now excluded from the axe protection. And there's nothing we can do about it.
