Is Inequality Harming Growth?
I don't subscribe to a markis view that everywhere and always you need to keep some down in order for some people to be up. I think it a lot of cases inequalities actually hurting everyone. Income wealth, unemployment, poverty and other economic outcomes are systematically much worse for black and latino people and households. So is it universally true that everyone does better when society is less unequal? And if so, why doesn't the general have a better understanding of that?
