An immigrant to this country was robbed and brutally assaulted on his way home from work. He experienced really standard post-traumatic stress symptoms, right? So he experienced hyper-vigilance, or as he put it, he was whenever anyone walked up behind him. And because of that, he was withdrawing from many things in his life.
